Out with the old in with the ...

I have enjoyed blogging this year and it has helped me to reflect and explain my thoughts, but all things come to an end (thanks to Jonny Baker for the free year of typepad blogging). 

I am now putting my online efforts into a new blog by John Wheatley and I. The Street Pilgrims blog will be used for updates on Streetspace WSM, reflections on mission and community living.

Streetspace WSM Launch

Sorry for the gap in posts, its been a busy term.

Recently saw the official launch of Streetspace WSM, a detached youth work initiative across Weston-super-mare that is soon to be launched by FYT across the UK.  Thanks to all who came and supported it.  The pilot in the town centre has been running every Friday night and the launch event allowed us to reflect on the many stories that have emerged in 1 year of hanging out on the streets of WSM.  

A grant has been applied for to take young people for Monthly Meals (M&M's) and this week we've been invited onto the Town Centre Youth Work Partnership.  Great stuff!

Many thanks to Richard Passmore for helping to set up and attend the meetings which allowed us to get to this point.
